ARCHITECTURAL MILLWORK
Architectural woodworking is a creative process involving Design, Fabrication and Installation
Architectural millwork is the process of making various types of woodwork for use internally and externally on architectural projects, for both functional and aesthetic purposes. Millwork can be either customized to the specifications of the client or mechanically mass-produced. Architectural millwork encompasses the entire process, from raw lumber to finished product.
ESTIMATING
Acurate and Competative Pricing
For commercial millwork projects, our skilled estimators precisely take off project quantities and offer detailed quotes. To ensure that our estimates are accurate and competitive, we use real-time job cost data and material pricing.
DRAFTING
Shop Drawings that Ensure Design Concepts Look and Function as Intended
From the system of measurement to the responsibilities of those involved in the project, our drafters utilize AutoCAD and Microvellum software to produce accurate, clear, and comprehensive shop drawings that keep manufacturers, contractors, and designers on the same page. Drawings include: construction methods, materials & finishes, dimensions, joinery details, technical suggestions, requirements for blocking or strapping, type and thickness of drawer members, cabinet doors, with sections and elevations of each cabinet configuration.
FABRICATION
Custom-designed architectural millwork is often superior workmanship that offers a wider variety of higher quality materials.
Architectural millwork is the process of creating various types of woodwork for use both internally and externally on architectural projects, for both functional and aesthetic reasons. Millwork can be either customized to a client's specifications or mechanically mass-produced (more on this below). Architectural millwork encompasses the entire process, from raw lumber to finished product. Casework, wall paneling, trim, countertops, staircases, and decorative moldings for various building structures, such as pillars, are examples of millwork commonly specified by architects. Decorative components based on standard sizes and designs, or they can be customized.
